Shopping and dining in Atlantic City has never been better with new outlets opening all the time. You'll find the newest at The Atlantic City Outlets - The Walk, the upscale outlet shopping, dining and entertainment complex along Michigan Avenue between the Convention Center and Atlantic Avenue.
Now shoppers can enjoy favorites like the newly opened London Fog, J. Jill and Borders stores. And hungry diners can stop into the new Ruby Tuesdays or "steak out" a claim at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse.
Also newly opened in town is Gallagher's, a new steakhouse at Resorts Atlantic City. Gallagher's promises to deliver "great steaks, celebrity diners and a touch of history."

March On…in Atlantic City!
Get your Irish up at the 21st Annual St. Patty's Day Parade on Saturday, March 11, 2006 at 1 p.m. This festive parade marches down the famous Atlantic City Boardwalk. This year's theme is "Keeping the Faith," and Grand Marshall is Monsignor William Hodge, pastor of St. Nicholas of Tolentine.
Laugh Out Loud!
Atlantic City's comedy clubs showcase rising new stars as well as seasoned favorites. Check out The Comedy Stop Café and Cabaret at The Quarter at Tropicana. This Comedy Stop features a full kitchen and full dinner menu.
The Catch A Rising Star Comedy Club brings the legendary New York venue to Resorts Atlantic City-promising comedy of "historic proportions."
The Borgata Comedy Club is another local favorite. Three comedians appear in each show and the line-up changes weekly.
Become a Star…or Watch One!
Belt out your favorite tunes at Planet Rose, a new wave style karaoke lounge at The Quarter at Tropicana. The place has been described as Tokyo chic meets American cheese, and it's worth the visit.
Or head over to the IMAX Theatre at Tropicana. Here, you can climb the peaks of Mt. Everest or dive the depths of the ocean-without ever leaving your seat. With breathtaking images over 5 stories high and wrap-around digital sound, IMAX has captivated over 700 million people worldwide. At The Quarter, IMAX shows first run feature films as well as documentary style features.
Surf's Up at the AC ProAm!
Surfers will compete in some of the best conditions on the East Coast in the AC Proam Surf Series, scheduled during March 18-26, 2006. That's because the Proam Surf Series reserves the week, and then chooses the best surfing day to hold the competition.
This is the first of a five event series sponsored by DV8 Media and Carbon Magazine. The organizers will give away over $6,500 in cash. There will be music, an after competition party and vendor giveaways. The public is invited to the beach to watch.
Ride Off Into the Sunset!
Jump on the back of a majestic stallion and ride off into the sunset, or at least onto the beach. During the off season, from October 1 to April 30, visitors can go horseback riding on the beach at Bally's Park Place and the Boardwalk. Cost is $50 an hour or $25 a half an hour. Both horses and ponies are available but riders must be over the age of two. For more information, call (609) 517-6006.

Mixed Fighting Championship 6 "Boardwalk Blitz"
March 4, 2006
From lightweight to heavyweight to women's bouts, "Boardwalk Blitz" will showcase some of the most talented fighters around. The match features Din Thomas vs. Ryan Healy, Mark Burch vs. Alex Roberts and Tara Larose vs. Roxanne Modafferi, among others.
NJ State High School Wrestling Championships
March 10-12, 2006
The top wrestlers from around the state will return to Atlantic City to compete in the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association, Star-Ledger and Sealed Air Individual State Wrestling Championships. Tickets may be purchased at Ticketmaster.

The Atlantic City Convention Center hosts a variety of shows this spring that are open to the public. There's something for everyone!
NJ Home Design & Landscape Show
March 3-5, 2006
The New Jersey Home Design & Landscape Show is an extravaganza for the home which features landscape displays, garden exhibits, pools, doors, windows and a variety of home improvement and decor products. There are also home improvement celebrities, exhibits and demonstrations and giveaways.
A.C. Recreational Vehicle and Camping Show
March 10-12, 2006
Begin planning your camping vacation at the 11th Annual Atlantic City Recreational Vehicle & Camping Show. The event showcases hundreds of RVs of every type, from inexpensive pop-ups and travel trailers to fifth wheels and luxury motor homes. This show is an ideal place to learn about new RV products, travel destinations and the RV lifestyle.
Atlantic City Beer Festival - The Celebration of the Suds
March 18-19, 2006
It's Atlantic City's first beer festival, and one of the largest tributes to this popular beverage on the East Coast. The Celebration of the Suds will feature over 100 beers and beer-related vendors, as well gourmet foods, contest, music, comedians and more. Hours for the show are 12 noon to 9 p.m. on Saturday and 12 noon to 7 p.m. on Sunday. You must be 21 to attend this event.
Atlantique City Spring Show
March 25-26, 2006
This year marks the 20th anniversary of Atlantique City, the largest indoor art, antique and collectibles show in the world. Sponsored by Antique Trader magazine, the show features more than 1,000 booths with antiques from around the world, free appraisals, and free furniture delivery within 200 miles of the show.
AC Motorcycle Showcase
April 1-2, 2006
Hosted by the E. Penn Biker Magazine, the AC Motorcycle Showcase will feature
new and custom motorcycles, including the latest models of motorcycles displayed by show sponsors Atlantic County Harley Davidson, Freehold Honda/Triumph, Southern Ocean County Cycle Center (Victory Motorcycles) and Brian's Thunder Mountain Motorcycles. The show also will feature nationally known bike builders. There will be cash prizes and trophies given to bikes displayed at the show, and an extensive vendor area.
