Hotel Updates

The Embassy Suites Crabtree Valley is undergoing a $7 million renovation to upgrade all 225 guest rooms and public spaces. Estimated completion date is fall 2007. Upgrades to all 14 ballrooms and meeting spaces -- including new sound systems, lighting and chandeliers -- are underway at the Raleigh Marriott Crabtree Valley. As headquarters hotel for the new convention center, the Raleigh Marriott City Center continues to be in full construction mode in anticipation for its summer 2008 opening. The adjacent Sheraton Raleigh Hotel will soon commence its own renovation that will add two more junior suites and be completed by spring 2008.
